Skytrans Airlines ceases trading

Skytrans Airlines announced yesterday that it ceased operations with immediate effect.

In summary:

Skytrans Commenced charter operations in 1990
Began scheduled services in 1993
Merged with Air Swift Aviation in 2000
Took over Karumba and Cooktown services from Macair Airlines 2001
Merged with QRA in 2006
With Macair Airlines closure Skytrans expands Cape routes 2009
