Dash 8 Q300 C-FJGX ex Qantas Link VH-SBG

C-FJGX DH8C Cairns-Majuro, was Alice Springs-Cairns 30/11/2025. (1/12/2025 Cairns-Majuro but returned back to Cairns).

C-FJGX is ex VH-SBG from Qantas Link. Was out of storage in Tamworth for Alice Springs via Birdsville on the 15/8/2025.

The last known QantasLink service for VH-SBG was QF2051/2052 from Melbourne to Devonport and back to Melbourne on 28th of January 2025. Later on, the 28th of January 2025 VH-SBG ferried to Tamworth as QLK906 where the aircraft remained in storage until 15/8//2025.

VH-SBG now follows VH-SBV, VH-TQZ, VH-TQM and VH-TQY which have all ferried offshore in recent months from Cairns to Majuro.

Korean and Asiana Airlines charters begin

Today saw the first of 6 return charter flights from Seoul Incheon, Korea to Cairns with Korean Airlines and Asiana Airlines. As an added bonus Korean Airlines was in its new livery!
Korean Airlines will be operating a Boeing 777-300ER and Asiana a Airbus A350-9.

VH-SBV was noted in Cairns in all white scheme.

VH-SBV ex QantasLink was out of storage in Tamworth for Alice Springs via Charleville 25/9/2025. Later ferried Alice Springs to Cairns on the 13/11/2025.

The last known QantasLink service for VH-SBV was QF2002/2003 Sydney-Tamworth-Sydney on the 8/8/2025, ferried as QLK904 Sydney-Tamworth where the aircraft remained in storage until the 25/9/2025.

VH-SBV now follows VH-TQZ, VH-TQM and VH-TQY which have all ferried offshore in recent months from Cairns to Majuro.
