Due to the fuel situation at Auckland Airport
Philippine Airlines upgraded their MNL-
CNS-AKL service to an Airbus A330-300. This enables Philippine Airlines to both carry adequate fuel and nullifies the requirement for the Airbus A320 requiring to stopover in Brisbane for fuel on the return leg.
