Skytrans Airlines ceases trading

Skytrans Airlines announced yesterday that it ceased operations with immediate effect.

In summary:
  • Skytrans Commenced charter operations in 1990
  • Began scheduled services in 1993
  • Merged with Air Swift Aviation in 2000
  • Took over Karumba and Cooktown services from Macair Airlines 2001
  • Merged with QRA in 2006
  • With Macair Airlines closure Skytrans expands Cape routes 2009
