Earthquake disrupts flights in FNQ

A Magnitude 5.8 earthquake centred North East of Bowen (461 kms south east of Cairns) caused significant disruption to flights at Cairns Airport. Air Services Australia evacuated their facility for just over 1 hour due to the earthquake.

The following flights were disrupted, delayed or diverted due to the earthquake:

QFA926 and QLK479D diverted to TSV and VOZ785 diverted to ROK.
QFA784, QLK481D, QJE1854, QFA784, JS950, JST948 were delayed as a result of being held on the ground at their respective origins.
Outbound services from Cairns: CPA146, TGW491, UTY891, SKP77, JST935, JST943 and ANO161 were delayed between 30 to 120 mins on departure. VOZ786 was rescheduled to depart on Friday morning.
